Pysanky for Ukraine Day

Last week, SVI and Ukrainian Arts TO collaborated to host a weekend-long pysanky teaching event. We conducted five workshops, welcoming over 100 participants who joined us in crafting pysanky. For the majority of our attendees, it was their first time making Ukrainian Easter eggs.

As we celebrate Pysanky for Ukraine Day, we're proud to showcase some of the beautiful pysanky created last week.

According to an ancient Ukrainian legend, the act of creating pysanky is believed to ward off evil and ensure that goodness prevails in the world.

Let's stand in solidarity with the global community by making pysanky and sending positive thoughts and energy to Ukraine and beyond. Share photos of your pysanky today to express your support for Ukraine.
