Canada-Ukraine Foundation

With 28 years of experience in Ukraine, the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF) monitors and promotes programs that support humanitarian aid, medical assistance, education, social welfare, and good governance. CUF communicates and collaborates with aid providers and donors in Ukraine, Canada, and beyond to maximize impact and cost-effectiveness of our support.

Canadian Foundation for Ukrainian Studies

The Canadian Foundation for Ukrainian Studies (CFUS) is a national, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to securing funds and other resources that will promote the growth and development of Ukrainian Studies in Canada, and elsewhere in perpetuity. CFUS believes that university-level Ukrainian Studies are essential for the healthy growth and development of the Ukrainian community in Canada. Such studies will also add to the body of knowledge resulting from the work of scholars in other countries, including Ukraine.

Holodomor Research and Education Consortium (HREC)

The Holodomor Research and Education Consortium (HREC) was established as a project of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Alberta. HREC promotes research of the Holodomor (direct translation from Ukrainian - death by starvation), the man-made famine organized and carried out by Soviet officials and their supporters in 1932-1933.

SUS Foundation of Canada

SUS Foundation of Canada, an Institutional member of Self-Reliance League (USRL/CYC), was established in l965 to provide financial support for Ukrainian cultural work in Canada.

USRL/CYC, an umbrella organization, through its constituent member organizations, the Ukrainian Women's Association of Canada (UWAC), the Ukrainian Self-Reliance Association (TYC), the Ukrainian Orthodox Youth (CYMK) and the St. John Fraternal Society have fostered the use and the development of Ukrainian language, culture and the Orthodox faith in Canada.

For 75 years the (USRL/CYC) has provided leadership and services to the Ukrainian Orthodox community in Canada by fostering the creation of various programs and institutions.

Toronto Ukrainian Genealogy Group (TUGG)

The TUGG is a non-profit cultural and educational organization consisting of persons interested in tracing their ancestors, finding the origin and meaning of their surnames and gaining an overall knowledge of Ukrainian genealogy, heraldry, culture, ethnicity, history and geography.

Ukrainian Canadian Research & Documentation Centre

With an eye towards the future the UCRDC is undertaking new projects, designing fresh exhibits and perpetuating its role as a dynamic resource centre within and beyond the Ukrainian Canadian community. The Centre continues to enhance its archival collection of audio and video oral history, unpublished memoirs and photographs.

Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Ontario Branch

The Ontario Branch of the Ukrainian Museum of Canada was established in 1944 by the Kn. Olha Branch of the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada.

Today, the Museum houses more than 6,000 artefacts that have been collected, researched, documented, photographed and preserved to professional museum standards. 

UMC Ontario produces one major thematic exhibit annually, complemented by programming for school groups and others. Our Museum attracts visitors of diverse heritage from across North America, Ukraine and beyond.
